Yes — reframe or stitch your Insta360 footage in Insta360 Studio, then pair the exported video with a timestamped GPX or Garmin FIT track in GaugeReel. Use a recorded watch, bike-computer or phone activity, or a GPX exported by Studio from supported GPS recordings. GaugeReel renders a separate overlay for your editor; it does not directly import native INSV telemetry.

Export the completed ride as a FIT activity from your Wahoo or iGPSPORT device or companion app, then import the supported file alongside your exported video in GaugeReel. Use the recorded activity, not a planned route: the file needs timestamps and the measurements you want to show. Adjust the data offset against a visible stop or start, then export gauges for a track above your footage in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere or Final Cut. The same file-based workflow applies to Insta360, DJI and GoPro footage; reframe or stitch 360 video first. Heart rate, power and cadence must have been recorded by your sensors. Free includes core gauges and PNG-sequence or chroma-key MP4 export; route/map gauges require Basic or Premium. This is compatible-file import, not a direct Wahoo or iGPSPORT account connection or certification of every device model.

Yes. Use a supported, recorded FIT or GPX activity from a Garmin, Wahoo, iGPSPORT, watch, bike computer or phone app. Import the activity, align its timing with your exported footage, and render speed, pace or distance gauges. Route/map gauges require Basic or Premium. The camera supplies the picture; the activity file supplies the recorded data.

To composite the overlay, import GaugeReel’s transparent export — a Free PNG sequence or a Basic/Premium ProRes 4444 / VP9 file with a real alpha channel — onto a track above your footage in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, After Effects or CapCut, and the gauges sit cleanly over your video. For editors without alpha support, export a chroma-key MP4 instead. If you don’t want to use an editor at all, Basic and Premium can burn the gauges straight into your footage and export a finished MP4 or ProRes MOV with the original audio. Premium users can also send the overlay straight into DaVinci Resolve in one click.

A transparent (alpha) overlay is an overlay layer in which everything except the gauges is fully transparent, so it can sit on top of your footage without a background box. GaugeReel exports PNG sequences and ProRes 4444 / VP9 video with alpha. Chroma-key MP4 is an alternative without an alpha channel; remove its colored background in your editor.

Only if you ask it to. By default GaugeReel renders the gauge overlay as a separate transparent layer and leaves your original footage untouched for you to composite in your own editor. On Basic and Premium you can instead choose “Gauges on your video”, which composites the gauges onto your footage (using the same sync as the preview) and writes a new finished MP4 or ProRes MOV with the original audio — your source file is never modified.

GaugeReel supports recorded FIT activities, GPX tracks (including supported Garmin extensions), and GoPro GPMF embedded in an MP4. FIT is a format used by Garmin, Wahoo, iGPSPORT and other devices; it is not limited to Garmin-branded hardware. Available gauges depend on the supported fields actually recorded. Pair the activity with exported footage from your camera. Native DJI logs and Insta360 INSV telemetry are not direct inputs.

Free includes transparent PNG sequences and chroma-key MP4, with separate limits of 1920 pixels wide, 1080 pixels high and 30 fps. Basic adds transparent ProRes 4444 MOV and VP9 WebM at the same dimensions and up to 60 fps, plus burn-in export (gauges composited onto your video as H.264 MP4 or ProRes 422 HQ MOV, audio kept). Premium adds higher dimensions and frame rates plus Send to Resolve. A 1080 × 1920 portrait overlay requires Premium. PNG and alpha video carry transparency; MP4 requires chroma keying in your editor. GPU hardware encoding is available on every tier.

Export a transparent PNG sequence or chroma-key MP4 at up to 1920 pixels wide, 1080 pixels high and 30 fps, with no watermark or time limit, then combine it with your footage in a video editor. Route/map gauges, full styling, transparent MOV/WebM video and burning the gauges into your footage need Basic or Premium. Basic is $10/month and includes ProRes 4444 MOV, VP9 WebM and burn-in export; Premium is $20/month and adds higher dimensions, further gauges and Send to Resolve. A finished video with a moving route map is not an entirely free GaugeReel workflow.
